Juicy, tender tandoori lamb chops cooked in an Indian-style recipe rich and full of flavour—served with mint chutney and homemade yogurt for added crunchiness alongside onion rings to make it more enjoyable.
A delicious tandoori dish is prepared using Indian spices, which are marinated before cooking until they become soft but retain their shape.
Ingredients
- 175 g yoghurt
- 1 to 2 Lemon juice
- 25 g garam masala
- 20 g turmeric powder
- 12 lamb chops with one bone on
- 12 g cumin powder
- 25 g chilli powder
- 20 g coriander powder
- Salt (to taste)
- 40 g ginger and garlic paste
Method
Tandoori lamb chops are a delicious, quick and easy dish to prepare. First, apply ginger, salt, and garlic onto the meat before letting it rest for 20 minutes. Make your marinade in another bowl using the remaining ingredients, including water or yoghurt. Depending on preferred consistency, we recommend leaving this covered so that no flies get inside!
Once finished cooking them up right away (or even better after 30-60 more minutes), arrange skewers around an open flame but remove once cooked through with a lovely burnt texture top side only; serve hot topped off by fresh coriander leaves alongside mint chutney onion rings also.
